Dairy Free Herbed Cream Cheese, Avocado, and Honey Flatbread. This is a quick meal that is not only easy but also delicious for any day of the week.

Grilled flatbread is the BEST and one of our favorite summer meals. But sometimes we don’t have the time (or energy) to grill the dough from scratch. That is when store bought flatbread or naan is such a great hack or cheat, if you will. All you have to do is heat the flatbread up in the oven. Even that step is optional. Eating straight out of the package is always an option. We like to heat up the flat bread or naan in the oven for 10-15 minutes to it nice and warm, and even get a nice little crunchy crust on the bottom side of the flatbread. It’s a simple but effective step that takes this easy meal to the next level.

How to Make Flatbread with Avocado and Honey:

  • Buy naan bread or flatbread from the store from the store. You can make it from scratch, but we are all about keeping it easy.
  • Brush both sides of the naan or flatbread with olive oil. Place on a baking sheet and pop in the oven at 425 degrees for 8-12 minutes. Tossing your bread on the grill is also an option. On the grill, this will heat up in less than 5 minutes.
  • Remove from oven or grill and top with dairy free cream cheese, avocado slices, drizzle with honey and add any herbs, microgreens or arugula to make it pretty 🙂 Aesthetics are important, right?
  • Cut into pieces and serve!

  • Any day of the week. For a quick meal or snack.
  • Serve this as an appetizer at your next dinner party. It’s quick & sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lg flat bread or 2 rounds of naan
  • dairy free chive cream cheese brand: kitehill
  • 1 lg avocado or 2 medium
  • honey for drizzle
  • arugula, cilantro or microgreens for garnish
  • olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven to 425. Brush the flatbread or naan with olive oil. Place on a baking sheet & bake for 8-12 minutes or until heated through.
  • Top Flatbread or naan with cream cheese, sliced avocado, drizzle with honey and top with greens of choice. Cut and serve. Enjoy!
