Sautéed Garlic Green Beans

Sauteed Garlic Green Beans are quick and easy to make and super delicious. The fresh green beans are pan-fried in ghee until blistered then tossed with a little garlic, coconut aminos & almonds. Yum!

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz green beans
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 yellow onion, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1/4 C thinly sliced almonds
  • salt & pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet add 1/4 cup water and the green beans on high heat and bring to a boil, cooking for 3 minutes. Drain & set aside. Wipe out pan.
  • Place pan back over medium heat & melt 2 tbsp of ghee.
  • Add onions, and saute for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add green beans & saute for an additional 3-5 minutes. Allow the beans to sit and get blistered.
  • Season with garlic powder, salt & pepper. Toss to coat.
  • Add coconut aminos & almonds. Toss to coat & cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve immediately & enjoy.
